People speculate and spend their time doing this but are completely content with this. The information given is making them happy. It is not their ignorance but it is the information that makes them happy.

Our prevailing business is the business not of information but of satisfaction” (5). I think that he finds a sense of satisfaction from figuring out the clues and socializing with others to figure out the creator behind the footage.
